Brand Identity & Social Media Management
MLARI came to use looking to create a rebrand that matched their mission
MLARI. Management, treated like a liberal art.
The Management as a Liberal Art Research Institute (MLARI) partnered with Marzo Creative to build a brand that honors academic tradition while speaking the language of modern leadership. We crafted a visual identity and social presence that translates Peter Drucker’s philosophy into a clear, contemporary system, bridging research, education, and real-world management in a way that feels rigorous, accessible, and relevant.
MLARI sits at a unique intersection: part research institute, part educational partner, and part leadership guide. Their mission is to advance Peter Drucker’s concept of Management as a Liberal Art, but their existing identity didn’t fully express that depth or distinction.
They needed a brand that could:
Reflect the intellectual rigor of their work and academic partnerships
Balance tradition and innovation in both visuals and messaging
Speak clearly to scholars, students, and practitioners without feeling overly formal or abstract
Extend seamlessly into digital and social channels where new audiences discover their ideas

Marzo Creative developed a brand system that positions MLARI as a thoughtful, forward-looking leader in management education. Our work included:
Refined logo and typographic system inspired by classic academic marks, updated with clean, contemporary geometry to convey credibility and clarity.
A modern, sophisticated color palette that moves beyond traditional campus tones—supporting legibility, hierarchy, and a distinct presence across print and digital.
A flexible design framework for publications, presentations, and digital touchpoints, making complex concepts easier to understand and share.
Social media strategy and content direction that translates dense research into accessible narratives, quotes, and visual snippets tailored for academic and professional audiences.
Together, these elements created a cohesive identity that feels grounded in scholarship yet oriented toward the future of leadership and management.

Within three months of launching the new identity and social presence, MLARI saw:
A 40% increase in social media engagement, with more saves, shares, and follows from academics, students, and management practitioners.
A 25% growth in partnerships with academic institutions, as the refreshed brand made MLARI’s purpose and positioning clearer at a glance.
Stronger recognition as a bridge between research, education, and real-world leadership, opening new opportunities for collaboration, programming, and thought leadership.
MLARI now shows up in the world the way their work deserves to be seen—serious in substance, modern in expression, and distinctly committed to management as a liberal art.
